Alumni background
Jessica Wang has a diverse background in trade research and economics. In 2022, she served as a Hinrich Foundation Trade Research Fellow for the Policy Support Unit at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
After her tenure at APEC, Jessica transitioned to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Switzerland to serve as a Young Professional. In this role, she supported the team and deepened her understanding of international trade issues. Presently, Jessica is a Junior Economic Affairs Officer at the WTO, where she works to further the organization's objectives in facilitating international trade.
Previously, she worked as a Research Associate at the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research, Academia Sinica, Taiwan and the Mitsubishi Research Institute.
Jessica completed her bachelor of Science from the Agricultural Economics at National Taiwan University and earned her master in Public Policy from the University of Tokyo. She obtained a second master’s degree in International Economics from the Geneva Graduate Institute.
