Alumni background
Taiye is a Hinrich Foundation Trade Research Fellow on supply chain connectivity at the Policy Support Unit (PSU) of Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in 2023 under a scholarship support of the Hinrich Foundation while pursuing a PhD in Economics at American University in Washington, D.C., USA.
She previously served as a Research Intern at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in the Macroeconomic Policy and Financing for Development Division. Additionally, she was also a Research Intern at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), contributing to both the Technology and Innovation Policy Research Section and the International Trade and Commodities Division.
She obtained her Master in Economics from the Syracuse University in New York in 2017 and earned a Master in International Studies from City University of Hong Kong in 2018.
