Alumni background
Vini Damayanti is the Communications and Administrative Officer at the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) International Secretariat in Hong Kong. She manages communications and promotions for APRU activities, events and news. She is also responsible for maintaining the integrity of the organization’s database and distribution lists.
Previously, Vini worked as a Project Assistant for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the Hong Kong SAR, China Sub-office, overseeing initiatives to support migrant workers in Asia affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to Hong Kong, Vini spent over a decade as a journalist in Indonesia, serving as a Senior Editor at Cita Cinta magazine and as a Web Content Editor at Femina New Media.
She earned her Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2019 with the support of the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship.
