Alumni background
Vini Damayanti currently serves as a Project Assistant at the International Organization for Migration in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), China Sub-office. She oversees projects aimed at improving the protection of migrant workers across Asia who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Prior to relocating to Hong Kong, Vini spent over a decade working as a journalist in Indonesia. She held positions as a Senior Editor at Cita Cinta Magazine and as a Web Content Editor at Femina New Media.
Vini's educational journey was supported by the Hinrich Global Trade Leader Scholarship, which allowed her to attain of a Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2019.
